Subject: [WSBAPT] options for designating guardian for at risk youth

Listmates, Married clients have adopted a child with behavioral issues. Child is not disabled. They want to make an estate plan designating someone to take over care and custody of the child if both are deceased before the child reaches 18.  There are no friends and family willing/able to fill this role. I referred them to professional fiduciaries who might manage assets for the child, but I don't know what to do about guardianship of her person as a minor. Any suggestions? Shannon
