[WSBAPT] Retirement account beneficiary designations

It is always better to list individuals.  Estates should only be listed, in my opinion, in very limited circumstances.  If you’d like to share a visit on this specific case Ann, I’d be happy to.

Single client with non-taxable estate wants two retirement accounts to go to a specific person, "Bob". She has other accounts that she wants to go pursuant to the will provisions (20% to "Lisa", to "Mary" if Lisa is predeceased, etc.). What is proper way to list beneficiaries on retirement accounts?

For accounts going to "Bob", to him with "Estate" as contingent?
For other accounts to "Estate", or is it better to list individuals?
