Individual Creditor files a probate claim through her attorney. Claim list
the Claimant's address and that of the attorney "as signor" of the claim.
Is the rejection of claim sent to both the claimant and her attorney or just
the attorney, or just the claimant. My concern is sending anything to the
claimant when you know she is represented by counsel. RCW 11.40.100 states
the rejection shall be personally served or sent by certified mail "to the
claimant or claimant's agent, if applicable, at the address stated in the
claim." I believe it is safest to just send it by certified mail to the
attorney, but because the claim includes the claimant's address will service
on the attorney, alone be deemed inadequate? Have anyone of you had this
experience?
