[WSBAPT] Bank refusing to close decedent's checking account

Similar war story but client didn't want to file a claim because he had what bank asked for but it killed me.

I had a court order appointing my client as Trustee of a particular trust that held a checking account of like $1,200.00. The bank would not release the money until Trustee showed Grantors were dead via death certificate - I indicated that dead or alive the grantors had no rights to the bank account and it needed to be released to the Trustee or I would bring a claim - alas my client did have both death certificates so it was easier for him to do a trip home and back but boy was I fired up.

Laura, I have made in person appointments with the bank manager. I take the papers with my client, and indicate I will be filing a motion and hearing before the court and will ask for fees/costs for having to do so. That usually prompts them to do what is needed. If not, I did bring a motion v. Umpqua Bank a long time ago and was contacted by legal dept when they got served. I got extra $5k in additional fees/costs for the client because I was forced to do so. I did get an apology as well and got all the monies out of the bank before the hearing.

The death certificate and letters testamentary have been provided multiple times and the bank refuses even to acknowledge that they have been received. What are the judicial or non-judicial remedies in such a case?
