[WSBAPT] Best practice recording death certificate?

What's the best practice on redactions when recording a death certificate? I assume SSN should be redacted, but what about date of birth and mother's maiden name? RCW 65.04.045 and 080<https://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=65.04&full=true> gave me pause, both of which contain the following:

When any instrument, except those generated by governmental agencies, is presented to a county auditor or recording officer for recording, the document may not contain the following information: (a) A social security number; (b) a date of birth identified with a particular person; or (c) the maiden name of a person's parent so as to be identified with a particular person.

Obviously a death certificate is "generated by a governmental agency" but does that mean even SSN isn't technically required to be redacted?

Sincerely,

Eric
