[WSBAPT] Two quick questions for Listserv

Hello Esteemed Colleagues,

 

I had two quick questions that I'm sure that you can answer that are
presently stumping me:

 

1.	For noting a hearing on the exparte hearing calendar for probate
cases in King County Superior Court-  do I simply file the note for hearing
and the motion and supporting briefing or do I need to motion the Court for
the hearing date like in a show cause hearing?  Essentially, I'm not sure
how to get the clerk to see the note and add the hearing to the calendar and
secure the spot for the exparte hearing.  Any insight would be greatly
appreciated.

 

2.	I'm assisting on a probate case, where the sole beneficiary has
sadly passed away before the assets were distributed and the probate closed.
The assets would now pass to the beneficiary's estate,  Is there any special
considerations or concerns when administering an estate where an estate is
the beneficiary?
