I welcome the opportunity to work with the Executive Committee on assisting with probate and trust matters. I have been an estate planning and trust attorney in Washington for more than 17 years. My practice focuses on complex estate planning, probate estate and trust administration, charitable planning, family office structuring and management, and resolving trust and estate disputes. I work with a variety of clients on planning matters, including assisting business owners, entrepreneurs, multi-generational families, fiduciaries, and trust and estate beneficiaries. Can anyone recommend an attorney to advise on establishing residency status for purposes of paying in-state college tuition? Young adult student is living with grandparents who are long-term residents of Washington. Clients have asked if they can become guardian of grandchild, which does not seem appropriate for a competent grandchild over the age of 18. Grandparents are willing to be financially responsible for grandchild, but I am unsure how to provide documentation of this to satisfy UW.

I checked into several years ago for my grandson who lives in Copenhagen but is a US citizen and the university of Washington has guidelines on this in establishing residency

Can someone direct me to a 90 day notice to use when a house is going to be sold in an estate in Seattle? The tenants are month to month, and I understand they need a 90 day notice in Seattle to evict them, if needed, but at least to give them sufficient notice.
Or direct me to a lawyer who can do this at a reasonable cost?

Thanks Bryce. That is what I'm looking at. It appears to require a parent or court appointed legal guardian who resides in Washington if a student is "financially dependent."

Can someone direct me to a 90 day notice to use when a house is going to be sold in an estate in Seattle? The tenants are month to month, and I understand they need a 90 day notice in Seattle to evict them, if needed, but at least to give them sufficient notice.
Or direct me to a lawyer who can do this at a reasonable cost?
