I would just add that, if Trustor intends substitute property to follow detailed property that such a designation mean more clear.  Example, Parcels, A, B and C where A is sold for X does significant other get X?  spell it out.

I always recommend listing each separately with carefully verified address, tax ID and legal description.
When the time comes it is best to have the properties nailed down with specificity to eliminate potential squabbles as well as we can.  I have seen many probates, trusts, divorces etc.  where everyone knew what they meant at the time, but now there is doubt as to intent.
