[WSBAPT] electronically signed documents in court submissions

Sharon,
The WA Supreme Court emergency order as of October 31, 2022 reiterates that electronic signatures have the same force and effect as an original signature. The definition of "electronic signature" is extremely broad, and I read that to say that anyone can use the "/s/" notation to "electronically sign" a document.
See Order No. 25700-B-697<https://www.courts.wa.gov/content/publicUpload/Supreme%20Court%20Orders/Order%2025700A697.pdf> Order regarding court operations after October 31, 2022, Filed October 27, 2022

Best,
Nick

Yes-Are you talking about them being rejected by the e-filing system, or rejected by a judge?

Sincerely,

Eric

Good morning -

Is anyone successfully providing electronically signed documents to the King County ex parte court, such as PR declarations or spousal waivers of the right to serve as PR?

Thanks,
Sharon
