This office handles Medication under the Washington Foreclosure Fairness Act, in combination with bankruptcy when appropriate, to assist homeowners in retaining their homes and reducing overall debt loads to make mortgages more affordable. If the homeowner is over 62 years of age and has enough equity in their home, we try to protect the home from foreclosure while the homeowner seeks a reverse mortgage or other mortgage options to retain the home.
