I have a client I am doing estate planning with, and she is being harassed by US Bank for her former spouse's line of credit which was paid off when he died.
She has complained to US Bank and gets confirmation in writing that the debt is paid and then a few months go by, and she gets another letter telling her the money is owed.
She would like to consult with an attorney to write a letter to get these letters to stop.  Her former spouse died tragically, and every letter is another reminder of his death.
Any referrals?
