I tried, once in Snohomish to file and filed required docs but did not publish and Commissioner said no, go back and publish and had to go back for a second hearing. Of course, publishing did nothing and no one showed for either hearing.

Hi Roger, My reading is that you would use 11.76 which requires Petition for Distribution and published notice for 20 days etc Just hoping that as there is only one Judgement creditor who will take it all and the only heirs are the PRs - they could stipulate and just close it - now using the Pet for distribution but waiving the hearing and publication. Mike

Sounds insolvent if a creditor gets all of the assets. A Decl of Completion is only for solvent estates.

Hi,

Trying to close an Estate with a Stipulation so Judgement Creditor (who gets all net assets) can sign off and then just close with Dec of Completion and avoid the costs of an accounting. Advisable?

Thanks

Mike
