I agree with Susan, without two competent witnesses you don't have a valid
Will and will need to proceed under the intestacy statute, unless it
qualifies as a valid foreign Will under RCW 11.12.020(1).

Witnesses are required.  You have to proceed under the intestate statute.
That's my opinion.

My client brought in a will that was only notarized and no witnesses. Only
one child who is PR. Any thoughts on how to proceed?  Should I ask court for
instructions.
