Ann,

First, under RCW 64.80.010 the term beneficiary does include Trust.  That being said, I’d probably not use specific names but “to the Trustee of the ABC Trust dated….”.  Also, I would want to understand clearly the terms of the revocable trust and who has powers to do what.  On the off chance that the Grantor of the deed is different than the Settlors of the RLT things can get ugly quickly based on the order of death.

A revocable living trust can be the beneficiary of a transfer on death deed, correct?

If so, should the primary beneficiaries be "John and Jane Doe, trustees, of the Doe Family Trust dated ____"?
