[WSBAPT] Settlement GAL - KY collision/injuries with WA minor

Minor child is on vacation with parents in Kentucky.  Gets in MVA and has injuries.  Parents hire KY atty for their own claims and minor's claims.  Settlement is pending approval of minor settlement.
KY atty and parents want me to serve as SGAL in WA and file the petition for appointment to then provide a SGAL report and approval of settlement. I reviewed SPR 98.16 and see nothing about out of state injuries/settlement for WA minor.
I did some research on Westlaw and found nothing on point.  Anyone have experience with this type of situation?  If yes, if you would be willing to share the case information with me, I can review from the court or if you want to provide your petition, that would be great.
