We have used La Conner Weekly News for years.  Significantly less expensive than the Herald.  Didn't know the Argus was acceptable here, though . . .

I need to publish a notice to creditors in Skagit County, WA and I wanted to ask for your experienced with the various newspapers there to see if anyone had a preference.  According to the clerk's office the following are legal newspapers of record within the County:
