This is what I have also done with an out of state PR.  I had them go in person to a branch of a larger bank we could also access here.

What I had to do in the particular situation was use one of the larger nation-wide banks so the out of state person could go in person to their local branch.  It wasn’t very difficult but I advise on being selective as there are some bigger banks easier to work with then others – guessing a few of you out there know what I’m saying 😉

Hello Listmates,
Needing to open an estate bank account for PR who is out of state. Has anyone dealt with this, and if so, how? The list of banking requirements say that the PR has to be there in person. Has anyone dealt with the issue of doing this for a client who can't be there. Pls share.
