Subject: [WSBAPT] Professional Trustee for Special Needs Trust

I have a client who wants to set up a testamentary Special Needs Trust for his adult son with Down Syndrome, but is at a loss as to who to appoint as Trustee. He does not have any friends or family members who he feels are suited for the job or who would not be susceptible to influence by his former spouse (his son's mother) who has battled alcohol and gambling addictions for years. Any recommendations for a professional Trustee for Special Needs Trusts? The client would prefer a Trustee in Thurston or Pierce County, but that's not a deal breaker.

Thank you,

Steve Aita
