[WSBAPT] Change of Attorney without Notifying Client

The original attorney is with his old firm; the new attorney is with a
completely different firm.  This is just strange.

Huh? The PR is the client-are you saying the PR's lawyer withdrew and subbed
a new lawyer for the PR without consent? Or did the lawyer just change
firms? If the lawyer just changed firms, I think s/he should have given the
PR the option to stay with the old firm or go with the lawyer to the new
firm.

Listmates,

 

This is a new one for me.  Original attorney, in  a probate estate,
substitutes in a different law firm to take over the representation.  This
was done without the knowledge or consent of the Personal Representative, or
any of the heirs.  Is this allowed?
