Here’s one for you:

One family member buying out other co-tenant’s half-interest.  Paying more than half the assessed value.  Check the box at the top of the REETA that says the sale is for a fractional interest.  King County rejects it—they want to see a purchase and sale agreement to substantiate that the purchase price is legit.

Oh I have had this exact issue before and had the same complaint. But they get to do whatever they want.

Very simple QCD gifting a parcel, no debt.  The ACTUAL WAC code is 458-61A-201(6)(b)....but there is a required supplemental statement where you have to check the box for the situation, which for this is (b)(1).

The filing was REJECTED because the REETA did not saying 201(b)(1).

I'm sorry - but what in the world is this? The form says to provide the section and sub-section of the WAC. The supplemental form numbering IS NOT THE WAC!!!!

OK - feel better now.
