You can also search for divorce records in Washington Digital Archives (Department of Health Divorce Index). It can be much faster. It lists the decree date and county.

https://www.digitalarchives.wa.gov/
Search by name. Collection is Divorce Records. They have records through 2017.

Dianne you can search multiple county records instead of county by county.
Accessing Smart Search
1. To access Smart Search, click the Smart Search portlet icon on the Odyssey Portal – Washington Courts Online Records Search webpage. https://odysseyportal.courts.wa.gov/odyportal

2. InSmartSearch, type a case number or party name. Party names must be in Last, First order.

Forgive me if I have asked this before but I have to find a Divorce Decree for a decedent to confirm the real property decedent owned until her death was in fact hers through a property settlement.  Is there a way to search by multiple counties as once.  The family cannot find the divorce records and don’t know what county the divorce was in.  We didn’t have luck finding it in the county that everyone thought the divorce  happened in.  We will call county by county if need be but I was hoping we may hear of a better way.
