[WSBAPT] Hospital Signings?

John: when the pandemic response hit we started "remote" execution of wills that includes witnessing and acknowledgement of the witnesses' affidavit, by Zoom. I don't think there is any case law that validates it. but we informed clients we would be redoing the execution when pandemic rules permit. If any such clients have expired, leaving an unhappy 'heir', we may have the opportunity to test that process before the coa.

Follow up.

Has anyone set it up for remote notarization under these circumstances?

Can a will be witnessed remotely - via Zoom?

I have a client perhaps close to death in the ICU at Swedish on First Hill.

Is anyone aware of how to arrange for an execution of estate planning documents under the COVID restrictions?
