Mc. McArthur:            Although you are not an attorney, it appears that you have some experience in legal matters.  But I think it might have been helpful when seeking help on this listserve had you also included the information that this matter has already gone to the Court of Appeals (No. 49056-1-II) so that potential attorneys could be aware of what has gone on to date.  And the more recent 2020 decision in 52485-6-II is also important.  By saying that I am not making a judgment call on whether your position is worthy or not.

Subject: [WSBAPT] HELP: Maverick-type probate attorney needed for complex probate and possible fraud

I am looking for an attorney to help with a complex probate with possible fraud; CPA challenge, no notice of probate given to heirs, probate open for 3 years no action. Surviving spouse has spent $100,00 + defending a CPA that wasn't recorded before death, auto-revocation clause,  singed under due influence. Order of intestate stands, the attorney of the estate only has a "draft of the will"  they prepared when she had 5 months to live (then only produced a CPA after death), and after death - litigated against heirs outside of probate for gifts of deceased parent, on behalf of surviving spouse. Surviving spouse has refused mediation and refused family reunification.There is possible fraud on the firm who handled the estate (personal friend of surviving spouse), they are also the acting PR. Need a Maverick-type probate attorney that would challenge the work of said attorney, get him off of being PR, and  at the least, get the heirs notice of probate. Cost is no concern.
