Listmates,

I am representing an Arizona resident in a WA probate case as an estate beneficiary, and he recently had a stroke and is in a rehabilitation center in Tucson.   He already has a power of attorney for health care, but still needs to execute one for his financial matters so his bills can be paid.

I understand from his niece (also a client of mine), that he is probably competent to sign the POA.  Most likely, a doctor would have to make that decision.  I need to refer them to an attorney who can assist with the process if my client is competent to sign, and to commence a guardianship if not.

All referrals will be forwarded.  Thanks in advance for your help.
