[WSBAPT] US Savings Bonds in Probate

All,

I have yet to deal with this issue.

In a probate, there are a number of US Savings Bonds made out to the
decedent (husband) OR his wife. Wife predeceased husband and assets passed
via trust without probate. Now, probate is open for husband. Is there simple
process to go through to have the proper government entity re-issue the
bonds to the estate? Is a probate court order required? An applicable RCW?
Value of the bonds exceeds $100k.

I've never dealt with these before in a probate so I'm just looking for
guidance or advice from someone who has or knows the process.

Thanks!
