Good afternoon -

I have a possible referral in Pierce County, but I am thinking that his first steps would be to contact an agency regarding financial abuse of an elderly person with Alzheimer's.

The potential client’s father was one of three siblings but committed suicide approximately two years ago. His uncle now holds the Power of Attorney for his grandmother. Uncle just bought brand new cars for himself and his sister and seems to be spending money left and right. The potential client requested that the uncle give him a little money for his school tuition, which he states Grandmother said she would help with, but Uncle declined. Client also believes that it’s likely that the Uncle had the grandma sign a new will that omits him.

Any suggestions as to where he can start with an investigation into this?

Thanks in advance -
