[WSBAPT] QDOT trust: need simple explanation for client

Hi Listmates,

I have clients to whom I'm trying to explain the value of a QDOT trust for two spouses, neither of whom is an American citizen.  I'm having a hard time "dumbing it down" enough to satisfy them, maybe because I find QDOTs a little confusing myself.  Does anyone feel like sharing their "plain language" explanation of the value of a QDOT trust with me?
