Hi Amy-

My understanding is that the Washington State law allowing remote notarization is not effective until 10/1/2020. However, I know that other states, such as Virginia, have remote authorization laws.

I was contacted today to consider representing a potential estate planning client with COVID-19 who wants to put together a Will and POA.

I've heard about notaries who can notarize over video conference. Does anyone have any experience with this and/or with witnessing a Will over live video feed?
