[WSBAPT] Waiver of serving as PR/notice of hearing on non-intervention powers

I have presented waivers signed by DPOAs and had no problem in King County.
Same for declining to serve as PR.  Your mileage may vary in SnoCo.

 

The first time I had that situation come up I was very careful and had a
declaration from the care facility attesting to the principal's incapacity
as well, but since then I have simply had the child/DPOA agent sign for the
surviving spouse.

When the widow of the decedent is incapacitated and the daughter has DPOA,
can the daughter sign a waiver/consent on behalf of the widow so that no
hearing is required on the non-intervention powers in intestate estate when
appointing an Administrator?
