[WSBAPT] Seeking Car-Accident Defense Referral

This is not my area of the law, so at the risk of being entirely wrong, if the client has insurance, she should tender the defense to her insurance company, who will want to select an attorney of their own choosing.  The insurance company will also pay for that attorney.  The insurance company will not want to pay for the attorney your client hires.  Yes, the client might need some independent advice, but that seems a bit unlikely and/or premature.

Hello, Listmates.

I have a potential new client who has to defend against a lawsuit over a car crash. She is a small-business owner, one of her employees hit somebody, and now she’s being sued. That’s all I know about the facts—it’s not my area of law, and thus I can’t take the case.
I am looking for any recommendations for defense attorneys that might be able to give this woman a consult. Solo to medium firm would probably be a better fit, but even larger firms are valuable if only to have them on my referral list for other cases. If the attorney speaks Spanish, that would be a plus.
