[WSBAPT] physician liability concern

Greetings -

Has anyone dealt with this situation? Married estate planning couple clients, and she is a physician. Although she has medical malpractice coverage through her employer, she is still concerned about exposure of the marital assets in the event of a lawsuit naming both her employer and herself. We have talked about creating a property status agreement declaring some assets to be her husband's separate property as a protective measure.

I appreciate any guidance you might have.

Best wishes,
Sharon
