[WSBAPT] 4-month date?

RCW 11.40.150 requires publishing a notice if a PR resigns, dies, or is
removed (not a new creditors notice but rather a notice of the "vacancy and
succession"). It provides for an extension of the time allowed creditors
based on the date of the resignation/death/removal and the first date of
publishing of the notice. Why would this statute not apply?

I do not believe you have to publish a second Notice to Creditors for the
new PR. The creditor claim notice period was satisfied with the first PR.
Creditors do not get increased time to file based on the unfortunate death
of your first PR.

Listmates,
I have inherited a probate where the original PR died unexpectedly before
closing probate. What is the new 4-month bar date for creditors? RCW
11.40.150 seems unclear on this.
