[WSBAPT] Sample Heir Location Letter

Hello List - 

After consulting with a genealogist (thanks for that referral) I have an address to someone who we believe to be a non-family beneficiary. Given the climate of scams and fraud - I’m curious as to verbiage to send seeking verification that this person (who is not family) is the person that knew our decedent. 

Obviously, we don’t want someone to claim a distribution that is not the intended. Nor do we want someone to toss the letter thinking it’s a scam. 

Appreciate any advice!
