I doubt they know what you are talking about, unless they had filed a lien in which case they will release or satisfy it.  You might call the ombudsman office in Seattle and seek their help.

I am getting a bit of a run around from the IRS on getting a satisfaction of their creditor claim.  We paid each year there was a liability and they cashed the checks.  But the involved agent won’t sign one and we are running into dead ends on follow up.  Does anyone know the best way to get them to satisfy a creditors claim?
