[WSBAPT] lost trust agreement

Folks- I was recently contacted by a local charity that wanted to have successor trustees appointed for a trust that was established over 20 years ago to hold real property for its benefit. The rub is nobody can find the original trust document, much less a copy of it, and charity apparently did look in all the obvious places (e.g. their files, grantor of property, title company, successors to attorneys involved). I’m confirming all this but I suspect there is a pretty good chance we will come up empty handed.

I haven’t gotten my hands dirty on this yet but I’m curious whether anyone has dealt with a similar situation where trust agreement for charity has disappeared? Grantor of real estate is still around so shooting from the hip, maybe a TEDRA agreement with grantor, charity and AG’s office as parties? Thanks in advance for any suggestions/guidance, Cy
