No.

We had this issue come up before Comm. Judson and he said he did not believe he had authority to sign one. It sounds dangerously like a guardianship without due process and the statutory and procedural safeguards to me.

Mark

Subject: [WSBAPT] Irrevocable Durable Power of Attorney

Mates:
Question: Does a Commissioner have authority pursuant to a VAPO hearing to Order the alleged VA to sign a DPOA that she can not revoke except by Court Order?
Thanks
Mike
