[WSBAPT] Irrevocable Durable Power of Attorney

My immediate thought is that a Commissioner can issue orders in a VAPO action but would not have the authority to compel the adult for whom protection is sought to sign such a Durable Power of Attorney.  I could see the Commissioner putting in place restraints or limitations regarding the vulnerable adult but not forcing the individual to sign over power to another individual (absent a guardianship proceeding, GAL, etc.).  For what that’s worth…..
