[WSBAPT] Double Probate for elderly couple

We do this quite a bit; first spouse died several years before, surviving spouse does nothing.  When SS passes a combined estate petition; one inventory based upon the SS date of death values.  One deed for the  house, etc.

You just do a double estate petition (estates of john doe and jane doe), I’ve never had any problems with banks.  one filing fee.

Hi all,

 

I’m pretty sure that I can do this but seeking confirmation:  H & W die within six months of one another; identical wills; one heir; solvent estate; no issues.  Can I petition Estates of H & W?  Any weird issues at banks, court?
