Listservees:
What should the summons for a newly filed TEDRA action say regarding the time limit for the respondent to answer the petition when no hearing has been set yet? Should it say that they must answer the petition "not later than five days before the date of the hearing on the petition, which date is yet to be determined" or something similar? Or do you always get a hearing date from the court before serving the TEDRA petition?

Sincerely,
