It seemed like a good idea at the time? Actually, some combination of living near the recorder's office, having heard that original deeds, once recorded, were less important to keep track of, etc.

Knows better now.

Just out of curiosity, why would one record a Will with the Recorder's office?  (Or do you mean filing the Will with the Court?)

If a client has recorded their Will and powers of attorney with the county recorders office, is it necessary to record revocations now that new ones are being signed?
