Listmates,

Husband (grantor) Quit Claimed his interest in real estate to wife (grantee) shortly before his death. The County assessor discovered a typographical error of the legal description on the Quit Claim Deed. If I prepare a corrected Quit Claim Deed, who would sign it? No probate was opened for husband’s estate (I presume that’s why the did the quit claim deed).

Thanksfor any advice you can give!
