Dear President Pickett, President-elect Majumdar, Executive Director
Littlewood, and Governors of the Washington State Bar Association, 
 
Attached please find the Supreme Court’s Charter and Plan for the Supreme
Court convened Workgroup on WSBA Structure.  If you read that first, the
rest of this message will make more sense.  I am hoping you will be able to
appoint the BOG members at your next meeting.  Once I receive applications,
I will consult with you on the Section appointments.  Please disseminate as
much as possible so those who are interested can apply.  (Paula, I am hoping
you can have it sent to the various WSBA list serves as I do not have that
ability.) The Workgroup can meet at the AOC SeaTac site, but I wanted to
explore the possibility of having the meetings at the WSBA Conference Center
where it could be recorded and be live streamed so the Workgroup’s work is
accessible and as transparent as possible.  I realize this has a cost to the
WSBA and may not be possible or authorized.  The Court will be reimbursing
the Workgroup members’ meeting travel expenses per the State policies.  
 
If you have any questions, please let me know.  I look forward to the
Workgroup beginning this important work.  Thanks.  Mary
