[WSBAPT] Tedra agreement

Hello Listmates —

I have been handling a simple probate. Decedent gave his estate in equal shares to his children. There is no dispute among the children related to the distribution. Rather than receiving the share, one of the children wishes his share to be distributed to an irrevocable trust for the benefit of other family members. That child’s attorney has prepared a TEDRA agreement. I have not spent much time with TEDRA agreements. Would there be a reason that the other heirs or PR would not want to sign the agreement?
