[WSBAPT] DSHS Claim Against Estate

Dear Colleagues,

 

I'm sure there's a simple answer to this question, but I have yet to find
it: 

 

Is DSHS exempt from having to present a claim against an estate within the
creditor claim period when seeking recovery for state medical assistance? In
this case, the claim period expired on July 14, 2018. The DSHS claim was not
submitted until July 17, 2018.
