I tried to do that a few years back. Commissioner Velategui denied the Petition as he said it would put too much pressure on the court with everyone requesting a fiscal year. For what that's worth.

Subject: [WSBAPT] Trust/GRD King County annual reporting cycle change?

Anyone know if it's allowed in King County to change a Trust's annual reporting cycle to a fiscal year that ends at the end of a calendar month, instead of using the anniversary date of appointment of the Trustee as the year end, as LCR 98.20(c)<https://www.kingcounty.gov/courts/clerk/rules/LCR_98o20.aspx> appears to require?

I'd like to change the reporting cycle, for example, from a wonky fiscal year ending August 8 to an easier fiscal year ending July 31.

Or am I over-thinking this? If the report is supposed to be through the "anniversary date" of August 8, but the Trustee submits a report that instead runs through July 31, does the court care about the discrepancy? The next report would of course cover August 1, 2018 - July 31, 2019.

Sincerely,

Eric
