Subject: Re: [WSBAPT] Joint probate?

Hi Randolph -

In Skagit County,  I've been permitted to do a joint probate when the heirs and beneficiaries were the same for both decedents.  So if the children of wife and the children of husband are the same children,  and neither has any other heir,  the clerk has let me do a joint probate. If one spouse had a different heir,  I had to do two probates - even when the estate of spouse one went directly into the estate of spouse two,  and the estate of spouse two went on to other heirs.

Good luck!
