The only successor to Washington Mutual Bank that I have been able to locate is indeed JPMorgan Chase Bank, National Association
I would be very interested should there be another possible successor.

I am going to start a quiet title action as to a WaMu deed of trust that secured a line of credit back in 2005 no payments since 2008 and client has received no demand for payment but wants to sell property Its my understanding to bring suit against JPMorgan Chase as the successor in interest to Wa MU as a result of the takeover thru the FDIC. There is nothing of record assigning the deed of trust and my best guess is the loan docs are lost . I'm claiming this was an installment obligation and SL has run. Please let me know if this is correct party to name thanks
