Dear Listmates:

My client will be in London for several months. Does anyone know if a Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care and Health Care Directive written and executed here will be effective if he should become incapacitated while there? Will language stating that it is the intention of the Principal that the document be valid in other countries have any effect? How about similar language in his Financial power of attorney? Or should I advise him to contact legal counsel in London if he is concerned about making sure he will have documents that will be effective while he is in England?
