[WSBAPT] Off-topic referral needed - military

I am looking for an attorney with experience in military law.  A potential client is very ill.  She joined the military in the 1950s (as a man) and is transgender (now a woman) and has a different name.  She wants to make sure her surviving RDP or spouse is eligible for military benefits, even though her military service was all under her original name.  I don't know anything about this area of law and how they might be affected if rules change about transgender members of the military.  Is anyone able to help her?
