[WSBAPT] Issues with Undocumented Immigrant as a Power of Attorney

Has anyone dealt with a situation where a client wants to name an
undocumented immigrant spouse (living in WA) as a power of attorney?

With the current immigration enforcement situation, I can see a number of
potential problems with naming an undocumented person, particularly if the
power of attorney was challenged and the named individual had to appear in
court.

Does anyone know of any good resources on this subject or have particular
experience with this issue?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sincerely,
